Welcome,

You have entered the web site for the CMF. This living brochure is offered to the members and friends of our brotherhood as a source of ever changing information pertaining to our organization and our hobby as a whole. For those who stumbled onto this site by error, come on in and allow me to introduce you to our organization.

The CMF is a group of approximately two hundred men and boys who research, study, teach, and reenact the battles of the great American War Between the States. Our organization is incorporated in the state of Maryland with a membership spanning from Western Ohio to Delaware to Southern Virginia... and all points in between.

Along with the living histories to educate the public as well as the military encampments and battle reenactments that we support, we are currently involved in two flag preservation projects. In our fourteen years of existence, we have raised thousands of dollars for the Museum of the
Confederacy’s flag collection and most recently have donated over $14,000 to the Tennessee State Museum and along with their matching funds was able to conserve two flags carried by the famous Archer’s Brigade.

This is a new and growing web site so please feel free to check back often to view our updates.
